Privacy Policy
Clear data boundaries for a product people use at a vulnerable hour.
Sleep with Scripture is meant to reduce noise, not create new concerns. This policy explains what the app uses, what stays on your device, what Apple handles, and what happens if you contact us directly.
Short version
No FanStudio account is required to use Sleep with Scripture. Reminder settings, favorites, and plan progress are intended to stay tied to your device unless Apple system backup behavior applies.
Questions?
Email fanstudioapps@icloud.com if you need clarification about this policy or a data-related request.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- the Sleep with Scripture iPhone app,
- the Sleep with Scripture pages on fanstudioapps.com, and
- support emails you choose to send to FanStudio about the app.
2. Information used inside the app
To deliver the app experience, Sleep with Scripture may store information locally on your device such as:
- favorites and session progress,
- starter-plan completion state,
- nightly reminder settings and selected time,
- basic app preferences related to your in-app experience.
We do not require you to create a FanStudio account before using the app.
3. Notifications and reminders
If you turn on bedtime reminders, the app asks for notification permission through Apple's system prompt.
- If permission is granted, the app schedules a recurring local reminder at your chosen time.
- If permission is denied, reminders stay off unless you re-enable notifications in iPhone Settings.
We do not receive your reminder content from Apple simply because the reminder is scheduled on your device.
4. Purchases and restore flows
Premium billing is handled by Apple through in-app purchase.
- Apple processes payment information and manages your subscription or purchase status.
- When needed for entitlement and restore flows, Apple provides transaction-level information so the app can unlock the correct access.
- We do not receive your full payment card details.
The App Store listing and Apple's billing systems remain the source of truth for local pricing, taxes, renewals, and refunds.
5. Support email
If you email us for help, we receive the information you choose to include, which may contain:
- your email address,
- device model and iOS version,
- descriptions of the issue, screenshots, or screen recordings you send us.
We use that information only to respond, troubleshoot, and keep a basic record of the support conversation.
6. Website analytics and consent
The Sleep with Scripture pages on fanstudioapps.com may use Google Analytics only if you choose to accept analytics through our consent prompt.
- Analytics are off by default until you opt in.
- Your consent choice is stored in browser localStorage on your device.
- If you reject analytics, we do not load Google Analytics for that browsing session setup.
You can reopen privacy settings from the site footer and change your choice later.
7. What we do not sell
We do not sell your personal information.
We also do not run a FanStudio account system for Sleep with Scripture that profiles your devotional use across our own servers.
8. Data retention
- On-device app information remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or change the relevant settings.
- Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the issue and maintain basic records.
- Website consent data remains in your browser storage until you clear it or change your choice.
9. Your choices
- Turn reminders on or off inside the app, or fully manage notification access in iPhone Settings.
- Manage subscriptions and billing through Apple's account and App Store settings.
- Email us if you want to ask about support-email records that relate to you.
- Use the site's privacy settings link to revisit website analytics consent.
10. Children
Sleep with Scripture is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a FanStudio account system for this app.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, the website, or retained services change. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
