Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you install or use any FanStudio app (including Photo Space Saver, DocSnap, and our games) or access our website at fanstudioapps.com. By using our apps or site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.

1. Who we are

FanStudio is an independent developer building Smart. Private. Offline. apps for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. You can reach us at hello@fanstudioapps.com.

2. Using our apps

When you download an app from the Apple App Store, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, subject to:

• these Terms, and
• Apple’s App Store Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

We remain the owner of all rights in the apps. You’re allowed to use them, not to sell or re-license them.

3. Pro features & payments

Some apps include optional paid features or one-time upgrades offered as in-app purchases. All billing and payment processing is handled by Apple.

• We do not see your full payment details (such as complete card numbers).
• Apple is responsible for processing payments and, where applicable, managing refunds.
• If you have a billing issue, Apple Support is usually the fastest way to resolve it.

When a purchase is successful, we receive a confirmation from Apple so we can unlock or restore the relevant pro features on your device.

4. Acceptable use

We build small tools meant to run quietly on your device. Please don’t misuse them. In particular, you agree not to:

• copy, modify, translate, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of our apps (except where local law explicitly allows it);
• circumvent or attempt to bypass in-app purchase mechanisms;
• use the apps in ways that violate applicable laws or third-party rights;
• resell, redistribute, or bundle our apps as part of another service without our written permission.

5. Website use

Our website is provided to share information about FanStudio and our apps. You agree not to:

• attempt to hack, scrape, or overload the site;
• use automated tools to send spam, run abusive traffic, or interfere with other users’ access;
• misrepresent yourself as FanStudio or suggest an affiliation that does not exist.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data in our apps, on the website, and in our newsletter. By using our products, you also agree to the practices described there.

7. Intellectual property

FanStudio owns the apps, code, branding, logos, artwork, and content we provide, unless otherwise noted. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Third-party trademarks and names (like Apple, iPhone, iOS) are the property of their respective owners and do not imply endorsement.

8. “As is” disclaimer

We try to keep our apps stable and useful, but software is never perfect. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the apps and website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

For example, we do not guarantee that:

• the apps or site will be error-free or uninterrupted;
• every possible bug or incompatibility will be fixed;
• the apps will meet every specific need or expectation you have.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, FanStudio and its individual developer(s) will not be liable for:

• any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or
• any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities

arising out of or related to your use of the apps or website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid to purchase the relevant app or in-app feature in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes, updates, and termination

We may update or discontinue features, apps, or the website from time to time, including pushing bug fixes or improvements, or removing apps from the App Store.

We may suspend or end your access to our apps or site if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, caused harm to other users, or attempted to misuse or attack our services.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply in your country or region of residence, unless local law requires otherwise. Any disputes will be handled by the courts that have jurisdiction in that place.
